Dottie Perry is a graduate of Ole Miss Law School. Born and raised in Mobile, Alabama, she is an associate attorney with the Mobile firm of Burns, Cunningham & Mackey, P.C. Her practice is diverse, and includes insurance, contracts, shareholder derivatives, real property, wrongful death, medical malpractice and complex business disputes, among other areas. Regular Guardian ad litem appointments by the Circuit Court of Mobile County also comprise a portion of her practice. She is a member of the Alabama Bar, the Mississippi Bar, the American Bar Association, the Mobile Bar Association ("MBA"), and is a former member of the MBA Executive Committee for its Young Lawyer's Section. She is currently serving as President of the MBA's Women Lawyers section.
Mrs. Perry is admitted to practice before the Alabama Supreme Court and the Middle and Southern U.S. District Courts of Alabama. Following law school, Mrs. Perry was Law Clerk to the Honorable Presiding Circuit Court Judge Charles A. Graddick, of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit of Alabama.
Before attending law school, Dottie graduated from St. Paul's Episcopal School, and Judson College, cum laude. Mrs. Perry is currently an active member of many civic organizations, to include the Junior League of Mobile, Mobile United, and Leadership Mobile.
Dottie is married to Wade Foy Perry and is the mother of Allison, an honor student at UMS-Wright Preparatory School. Her family is a member of Dauphin Way United Methodist Church.
