Elizabeth Cunningham was born in San Diego and raised in Mobile, Alabama. During her childhood she learned first hand the importance of advocacy and the pursuit of justice from her father, William Cunningham, an attorney with the firm Burn, Cunningham & Mackey, PC. She was employed there as a runner during high school and after law school as an associate for a year representing injured clients. These experiences instilled in her the ideal that advocacy is important and protecting victim’s rights was her calling.
Elizabeth attended the University of the South - Sewanee, where she played volleyball and was a member of the diving team. She graduated in 1998 with a BA in English. Looking to expand her horizons, Elizabeth attended the University of Montana School of Law. Falling in love with the northwest, Elizabeth opened her own firm and has been practicing in Missoula since then.
Elizabeth’s practice focuses on personal injury, consumer rights, medical malpractice and family law. She is a member of AAJ, ABA, Montana Trial Lawyers Association, and Montana Young Lawyers. When she is not working, she and her husband enjoy taking advantage of the great adventures Montana has to offer.
