Heather's Biography

Heather M. Bonnet-Hébert’s practice areas include medical negligence, product liability, and crime victims advocacy, as well as liquor liability, vaccine compensation claims and a wide variety of general liability cases involving personal injuries and wrongful death.  


Attorney Bonnet-Hébert graduated from Rhodes College in 1996 with a B.A. in English with an emphasis in Fiction and Poetry Writing.  In 2004, she received her J.D., cum laude from Vermont Law School where she was elected Editor-in-Chief of the Vermont Law Review; served as an invited member of the VLS Moot Court Advisory Board; and was selected as a Dean’s Fellow where she taught legal research and writing to incoming 1L students.

Ms. Bonnet-Hébert is a member in good standing in both the state and federal courts in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She is currently a member of the following law-related organizations and committees:

Attorney Bonnet-Hébert is a co-founder of the Southeast New England Vermont Law School Alumni Association and a member of the Technology and Animal Law Committees of the Rhode Island Bar Association.

Outside of the legal field, she is an active supporter of the Big Fluffy Dog Rescue, Southeastern Massachusetts Agricultural Partnership, the Dartmouth Grange, and the Coalition for Buzzards Bay. She is a past co-chairperson of SouthCoast Equality, a project of the Community Foundation of Southeast Massachusetts and past member of the Board of Directors of the March of Dimes – Southeastern Massachusetts Division.

In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with her family and friends, gardening, hiking, kayaking, fishing, and supporting her local farmers.
