I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Penn State University. I have lived in Brevard County, Florida since 1968, when I began work at the Kennedy Space Center on the Apollo lunar landing program as a spacecraft operations engineer, and later I was a Project Integrity Engineer on the Skylab program. In 1974, I entered the University of Florida College of Law, and in 1976 I received my Juris Doctor degree and began practicing law in Brevard County.
I am a member of the Florida Justice Association, American Association for Justice, Florida Bar Aviation Law Committee (former Chairman), former member of the Florida Bar Aviation Law Certification Committee, which tests aviation lawyers who desire Board Certification (Chairman 2006 - 2007), National Transportation Safety Board Bar Association (founding member), Lawyer-Pilot Bar Association, and I practice in all State and Federal Courts. I was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States in 1980.
I am Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Aviation Law, and I am listed in Who’s Who in American Law. I have been a licensed pilot since 1971, I hold an instrument rating, and I operate a Piper Meridian. The Meridian allows me to travel to courts and clients throughout the United States efficiently and cost effectively. Flying the Meridian also allows me to maintain my sanity (it is terrific therapy).
I am on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Federation of Brevard and Indian River Counties (President 2000, 2001, 2007) and the International Research Foundation for RSD/CRPS.
