Mark has practiced law in Utah since his graduation from the University of Utah Law School in 1977. For the first 10 years of his practice, he obtained a wide range of experience working in-house for several corporations. Ultimately, he realized his interest was more in litigation than transactional/business related practice. For the next 22 years, Mark has been involved in civil litigation, mainly in the area of professional malpractice, medical malpractice, and personal injury. Early in that litigation career, he worked on the defense side of medical malpractice, but soon realized that his personal sentiments were clearly on the side of injured patients. Since then, Mark has used his experience as a defense attorney in assessing and prosecuting cases for plaintiffs. Mark's experience as a runner and road cyclist for the last 32 years has also made him aware of the risks faced by the general public on the roads, and have helped him gain a specialized perspective as he represent injured cyclists, runners, pedestrians, and drivers seeking justice for injuries caused by other's negligence.
