I am the author of several books related to the use of PDA/smartphone and iPod Touch devices with individuals living with cognitive difficulties. Information about my books is available at id4theweb.com. In addition, I am a professor at Coastline Community College and have taught in Coastline's Acquired Brain Injury Program for over 24 years. My teaching emphasis includes cognitive rehabilitation classes for individuals with moderate and mild brain injuries.
In addition to teaching cognitive remediation skills to adults with brain injuries, I also teach classroom and online computer courses. In creating technology-based compensation strategies for brain injury survivors, I have found the perfect niche to combine my passion for teaching and my fascination with computers.
I am currently playing a lead
role in the development of Coastline Community College’s Acquired Brain
Injury Program Online Cognitive and Caregiver’s Boot Camp. This unique
online program is designed for individuals living with brain injury and
for those who work with or are caregivers for Wounded Warriors or
