Nicole practices in the areas of medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, products liability, and other areas of law in which justice must be pursued on behalf of an injured party. Nicole also has experience in commercial litigation and criminal defense.
Nicole is active in the American Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association. A few of her bar activities have included helping coordinate the provision of disaster legal services to victims of flooding and mudslides in conjuction with FEMA, lobbying members of Congress regarding issues related to access to justice, and creating and promoting programs to increase awareness among young people about the role of the judicial system.
Nicole is serving her second term as the ABA Young Lawyers Division liaison to the ABA Standing Committee on Judicial Independence. This committee makes recommendations about ways to protect citizens' rights to fair and impartial courts, promotes education and awareness about the role of the judiciary, and assists courts and bar associations in responding to attacks on judges and the independence of the judiciary.
Nicole graduated with honors from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law where she served as chief managing editor of the Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law. Nicole received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the Ohio University Honors Tutorial College, cum laude, with a major in Social Theater.
