Ms.
Safford was born in Roseville and grew up in the Sacramento area. She attended the University of California at Santa Barbara and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular
and Developmental Biology, and a minor in English. She then relocated to San Francisco after being recruited by the biotech giant, Genentech, as an analytical chemist.
Ms. Safford was admitted to the California State Bar in 2006. She
began her legal career at the University of San Diego, School of Law, earning awards for her high marks in the law of Trusts and Estates and in Criminal Law. She
graduated in 2005 and joined Demas and Rosenthal immediately thereafter.
Ms.
Safford works alongside Mr. Demas and Mr. Rosenthal, assisting in the
management of their caseload. She handles all phases of litigation, from intake through settlement, and has obtained favorable results for clients through the process of alternative dispute resolution.
Outside the office, she enjoys spending
time with her husband and two young children, practicing yoga and traveling whenever possible.
