Serena worked for The Injury Board from January 2010 to September 2010 and handled day-to-day operations at the company, contributed to the production and distribution of The Safety Report, and wrote Assignment Desk articles for IB members' blogs.
Originally from Tampa, FL, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Art & Design (i.e., architectural design) with a minor in German Studies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA in 2000. She obtained a Juris Doctor with a focus on Intellectual Property and Art Law from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2008 and is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida.
