Attorney Vanessa Dennis has been representing mesothelioma victims and their families since 2007. Ms. Dennis joined Napoli Bern Ripka Shkolnik in 2011. She will continue to dedicate her practice to representing victims of mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases.
Ms. Dennis was born and raised in Arizona. She received her B.S. in Psychology from Arizona State University. Upon receiving her degree she relocated to San Diego and began working as a social worker at an Adult Day Health Center that served the elderly population. While attending California Western School of Law Ms. Dennis interned with the United States Marine Corps in their Legal Services department assisting service members with a wide range of legal needs. In her final year she participated in an Advanced Mediation course in which she mediated disputes in District Court and Juvenile Hall.
Upon graduating law school Ms. Dennis relocated to Rhode Island and began working at a general practice firm where she was responsible for the firm’s family law cases. In 2007 she began working for a small Rhode Island firm that focused its practice exclusively on asbestos cases.
Ms. Dennis is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and the United District Court for the District of Rhode Island. Vanessa is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Rhode Island Bar Association, and the Rhode Island Association for Justice.
