About Yvette M. Boisclair

Yvette M. Boisclair practice areas include medical negligence (with a special interest in cases dealing with women’s health issues such as obstetrics, gynecology, breast cancer and gynecologic cancers) and personal injury, as well as motor vehicle liability and a wide variety of general liability cases involving catastrophic injuries and wrongful death.

Attorney Boisclair has been recognized by “Super Lawyers” for her work in the practice of Medical Malpractice – Plaintiffs- from 2009 through 2018. Attorney Boisclair has also been selected for inclusion in the 2014 through 2018 editions of “The Best Lawyers in America” for her work in the practice areas of Medical Malpractice Law- Plaintiffs and Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs.

In 2004, the Rhode Island Trial Lawyers Association awarded Attorney Boisclair and partner Attorney Schwartz the “Case of the Year Award” for their successful representation at trial of the parents of a baby boy who died shortly after birth at Women & Infants Hospital. (Oliveira vs. Women & Infants Hospital).

Attorney Boisclair is a member of the Board of Directors of Clothes to Kids RI, a non-profit with a mission to provide new and quality used clothing to low-income or in-crisis, school-age children in Providence County, Rhode Island — free of charge.  She also serves as a member of the Providence College President’s Council. Attorney Boisclair and her husband, Attorney Mark Mandell have established “The Mandell-Boisclair Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund” at Providence College to provide a scholarship to a student-athlete who has exhibited academic excellence and serves as a role model to others.
